Infrared Thermopile Chips

Infrared thermopile chips are electronic devices that generate electrical signals when exposed to infrared radiation. They consist of a series of thermocouples, which are made by joining two dissimilar metals. When infrared radiation is absorbed by a thermocouple, it causes a temperature difference between the two metals, which generates an electrical voltage. These signals are then used to detect and measure temperature changes. Infrared thermopile chips are commonly used in temperature measurement applications, such as in household and industrial thermometers, and also in non-contact infrared temperature sensing systems.
