CTH:YAG (Chromium, Thulium and Holmium doped Yttrium Aluminum Garnet)
CTH:YAG (Chromium, Thulium, and Holmium doped Yttrium Aluminum Garnet) is a triply-doped laser crystal. The chromium ions (Cr+4) serve as the laser activator, while the thulium (Tm3+) and holmium (Ho3+) ions provide additional laser lines and broaden the gain spectrum. The crystal is known for its high thermal conductivity, stability, and good laser performance. It is commonly used in high-power laser systems and as an optical material for frequency conversion, particularly in the near-infrared spectral region. CTH:YAG has been utilized in a variety of laser applications, such as medical and industrial laser systems, scientific research, and material processing.
