The Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) is the largest national organisation representing the interests of manufacturing and manufacturing-related industries since 1932.

Today, the SMF is a forefront trade federation serving the manufacturing community by driving digitalisation, innovation-led productivity, business transformation and internationalisation towards enhancing the competitiveness of its member companies.
Currently, the SMF has about 5,000 corporate members, consisting of SMEs, MNCs and Affiliate Members. Corporate members are categorised into 10 Industry Groups and supported by its Associated Services to address each industry’s unique and specific needs and interests.
The SMF collaborates with local and overseas government agencies, industry partners and enterprises to provide key services such as representation of members’ views at formal dialogues with the authorities; increasing business opportunities through local and international trade fairs and missions; building capabilities through conferences, seminars, workshops and other industry-specific programmes; and transforming businesses with business model innovation.
Our Council
As a not-for-profit organisation, the SMF is governed by a Council whose members hail from some of Singapore's most established and progressive companies. Through our strong links with the government, we are suitably qualified to represent our members objectively and to facilitate communication between the government, foreign delegates and the manufacturing community.
