Hot Embossing System

Hot embossing is a packaging technique in which a heated tool is used to apply pressure to a thermoplastic material, causing it to conform to a pattern or shape on a substrate. The process of hot embossing is often used to produce high-resolution features and patterns on thin films, such as for creating micron-scale structures in microfluidic devices or for producing high-fidelity stamps for nano-imprint lithography. The process of hot embossing typically involves heating the thermoplastic material to its softening point, then pressing it into a mold using a heated tool. After the material cools and solidifies, it retains the shape of the mold. Hot embossing is commonly performed using a specialized hot embossing machine, which precisely controls the temperature, pressure, and duration of the process.
