HORIBA STEC, Co., Ltd., a prominent group company within the HORIBA Group's semiconductor business, is making significant strides with the construction of a new factory in Fukuchiyama City, Kyoto Prefecture. The decision to establish this new facility stems from the remarkable growth of HORIBA's semiconductor business, marked by the achievement of net sales and operating profit targets set out in the "MLMAP2023" management plan two years ahead of schedule. As part of its expansion and production enhancement strategy, the new factory will boast the HORIBA Group's largest ever investment of approximately 17 billion yen and is expected to commence construction in July 2024, with completion slated for January 2026.
