LiTaO3 on Glass Bonded Wafers is a type of wafer used in the production of acoustic devices and filters, such as surface acoustic wave (SAW) devices. The wafer is made by bonding a thin film of lithium tantalate (LiTaO3) onto a glass substrate using a bonding technique such as anodic bonding. The resulting wafer has the benefits of the LiTaO3 material, such as its excellent piezoelectric properties, combined with the mechanical stability and optical transparency of the glass substrate.
