MICLEDI Microdisplays, a leading technology company specializing in microLED (µLED) displays for high-end Augmented Reality (AR) glasses, will be presenting its range of R, G, and B µLEDs at CES 2024. These demonstrations will showcase exceptional color performance across various drive currents, catering to the demand for ultra-compact display modules in a variety of AR display appliances.

The growing demand for AR solutions reflects users' desire for enhanced immersion and information-rich content. MICLEDI aims to address these needs with microLED displays designed to meet the requirements of emerging applications while overcoming the limitations of current technologies, thus expanding the range of display module performance parameters.

MICLEDI's strategy focuses on enabling feature-rich AR glasses and headgear by developing top-performing individual color µLEDs, which, when combined with the company's proprietary micro-lenses, can be integrated into high-performance full-color 3-panel µLED display modules. The company aims to address different application requirements, including consumer, industrial, automotive, and others.

Dr. Soeren Steudel, CTO of MICLEDI, emphasized the company's commitment to responding to the challenges presented by various AR glasses' performance objectives, with a focus on low-cost, high-volume production. At CES 2024, MICLEDI will showcase µLEDs with excellent color performance across the full range of drive currents for different types of AR glasses appliances in blue, green, and red.

To ensure the widespread adoption of AR glasses, MICLEDI is working on developing best-in-class AR glasses with transparent lenses that can be used in various lighting conditions. By optimizing individual colors, the company aims to enable the highest brightness among alternative market solutions.

At CES 2024, MICLEDI will be located at The Venetian in a private suite, conducting meetings and live demonstrations from January 9th to January 12th. Highlights will include demonstrations of blue, green, and red microLED arrays with excellent color and brilliance/luminance.

Key display highlights will feature two versions of blue and green µLED arrays, a version of red µLED arrays, 300mm microLED production wafers, and a blue/green µLED display device driving a large visible image (480 x 320) with a projector.
