ASTROHN Technology Ltd is using all of the technological processes of the manufacturing the optical devices:
construction and all optical circuits calculations of infrared and terahertz range;
manufacture of optical products with anti-reflective coating;
high-precision casting of aluminium alloys;
hydraulic pressing;
products casting from plastic, rubber and silicons;
mechanical treatment at the precision machining centers.

Since the beginning of April 2017, ASTRON OKB launched installations for the production of germanium (Ge) and silicon (Si) single crystals by the Czochralski method, advanced technologies for producing germanium single crystals with increased homogeneity of single crystals have been introduced.

Full-cycle production is organized, taking into account the processing of own waste. The company is working on such areas as obtaining germanium crystals with increased homogeneity up to 500 mm in diameter.

From the obtained monocrystals, the equipment and technologies of the company make it possible to produce aspherical lenses, which are subsequently used in the manufacture of a line of IR lenses under the Astron brand, thereby reducing the cost for the end user at consistently high quality. In the manufacture of aspherics, the best samples of foreign equipment from Optotech are used.
