Jonathan Klamkin, Ph.D., CEO, and Founder of Aeluma, expressed his satisfaction with Craig's appointment, emphasizing his extensive experience in the semiconductor industry across various market verticals. He highlighted Craig's understanding of technology, strategy, customer engagement, and supply chain, aligning with Aeluma's plans for rapid growth and expansion into large-volume consumer markets.

Craig Ensley, age 73, has held leadership positions in global semiconductor businesses, including MEMS & Sensors, Communications (RF/Wireless, Optical, and Wired), and Analog & DSP. His previous executive roles encompass CEO positions at Atomica (formerly IMT) and DisplayLink, as well as a presidency at Peregrine and a senior vice presidency at Cirrus Logic. His career also includes contributions to the communications semiconductor business at Rockwell International, which later resulted in the creation of three public companies: Mindspeed, Jazz, and Conexant. Currently, he serves on the Boards of Mentium Technologies and the MEMS & Sensors Industry Group, having also been involved with notable organizations such as the Consumer Electronics Association Audio and Home Networking Divisions and the KLRU Austin PBS Television Station.
