Shanghai Wechem Chemical Co., Ltd (refer as "Wechem") was founded in 2015 in China with an original focus on the distribution of specialty gases and specialty chemical. Since then, the company has grown to become an international player recognized for specialty materials in defense, industrial, nuclear power, oil and gas, solar energy, electronic, automotive/transportation and medical markets etc.
Over the years, Wechem has diversified its product lines to capture opportunities created by the growing demand for better materials performance. In 2015, Hongkong Wechem was established in order to better manage global co-operations. In 2018, Wechem established its first Joint venture company in Foshan. In 2019, one oversea joint venture company in Vietnam to enhance product development and network logistics.
