Tekcore is a manufacturer of quality LED wafers and chips.  We specialize in high brightness chips in green, blue, and ultraviolet wavelengths.  Additionally we can produce high brightness red, yellow, and orange chips to cover the full spectrum of visible light and beyond.  Our chips come in a wide range of sizes and types to fill the various needs of our clients.
Chip Materials
    Primarily Tekcore LED wafers and chips are made from a gallium nitride (GaN) base.  This material allows for chips of green, blue, and ultraviolet.  Furthermore, our newest products make use of an advanced aluminum indium gallium phosphide (AlInGaP) base.  This newer material allows us to produce red, orange, and yellow chips as well.

Production
    At Tekcore we produce all our wafers by advanced metalorganic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) epitaxy.  Using sapphire (Al2O3) and gallium arsenide (GaAs) substrates we are able to grow wafers of chip material that support any color.  In all our facilities include 18 state-of-the-art MOCVD machines enabling us to meet nearly any production demand.

The Final Product
    Our final products are our chips.  Having gone through our rigorous Quality Control process they are guaranteed to be some of the highest quality chips available.  Our chips range in size from 37,815 um² (63 mil²) to large area chips of 2,480,2625 um² (3969 mil²) and can produce up to 60 lumens per watt (lm/W) or more.  In addition to more standard LEDs we have a variety of power chips and flip chips and have the capability to develop and produce new chip designs to meet specific customer requirements.
