Thanks to massive parallel image processing on high-performance GPGPUs (general purpose graphic processing units), the shortest measuring times can be achieved and the measuring devices and 3D sensors can be used not only in the laboratory but also close to production and inline. Thanks to the white light interferometry (coherence scanning interferometry) measurement method used, a wide variety of surfaces can be recorded with extreme resolution.
