STAr Technologies provides intellectual property, software, hardware, consumables, service and expertise to meet the requirements and challenges within the semiconductor and optical device industries. Our expertise extends across parametric electrical tests (E-test), wafer-level and package-level reliability (WLR & PLR), mixed signal tests, assembly and packaging services, probe cards, load boards, test interfaces and sockets.
Major customers include top tier players in the semiconductor industries such as: TSMC, UMC, Global Foundries, SMIC, KYEC, ASE, Samsung, Hynix, Toshiba, Renesas, Maxim, OmniVision, etc.
In May 2014, Innotech Corporation (TSE:9880), a leading semiconductor trading company in Japan, reached an agreement to acquire majority stake in STAr Technologies. This synergistic acquisition enables Innotech to expand solutions offerings through STAr’s products to global customers. With the support from Innotech, STAr Technologies continues to innovate and develop advanced products for our customers with revolutionary performance and lowest cost-of-ownership (COO).
